2008 Comedy Bowl

This year's event was held Super Bowl Eve, Saturday, February 2, from 7:00 PM to about 11:00 PM. The New Hampshire Institute of Art provided the setting for a tailgating/Comedy Club evening. From 7:00 to approximately 8:15, our guests arrived, visited the cash bar, and enjoyed chicken tenders, shrimp, kielbasa, chili, and other offerings from the "tailgate" buffet. They also aggressively bid on the various Silent Auction Items, over 60 items, expertly arranged into enticing "packages". The evening was complete with a half-time show of a live auction that featured premium items donated by local businesses. One of the items, an African Safari was hawked by non-other than Tarzan and Jane!

The event was a success in its inaugural year by netting the Club over $20K in net profits, all of which will be distributed to Children's programs and Charities. Our guests left a little poorer, but with lots of smiles. At the end of the evening, the conversation of the attendees centered on ensuring a return next year to enjoy what will become an annual event.

About the Comedy Bowl

The Queen City Rotary Comedy Bowl will be held this February 2nd at 7pm at the New Hampshire Institute of Art 148 Concord Street Manchester NH.

Event Detail:
Tailgating food, drinks, and Boston's Best Comedians are on the agenda for what promises to be Manchester's Premier comedy event night. Auction items, raffles, and other prizes and games will be available as well. So join us for a night of fun before the big game on Sunday!!!

Tickets are $35 (which include a free beverage) and are available through your local Queen City Rotary Member or calling 603.591.8886.

Sponsorships:
Touchdown Sponsor - $500 (only 12 available). Reserved table and 6 VIP tickets, company logo on all local posters, full page ad in the event program, and recognition on the night of the event.

Field Goal Sponsor - $275 (only 20 available). Reserved table, six tickets, and program recognition.

Two Point Conversion Sponsor - $75. Company pennant and program recognition.
