2010 Road Rally is October 16th, 2010

This year's Road Rally will mark the 29th anniversary of this Fundraising event.  It will be held on Saturday, October 16th at 5pm and will be kicked off at the PSNH upper parking lot. 

We're shooting for 100 teams of four per vehicle to challenge themselves to our brain teasers, competing for great prizes.

The Queen City Rotary meets every Thursday morning beginning at 7:30 at the Puritan Back Room.  Anyone may attend the meetings.

 
RULES FOR ROAD RALLY PARTICIPANTS:
Four people per car · First car in, with the most correct answers in the allotted time, wins · Decision of the Rally judges is final · Participants without a sense of humor will be disqualified.

ENTRY FEE

$100 per car. The best fun-per-dollar value this fall! Includes prizes, one lifeline clue per puzzle, post-Rally meal and lots of fun (maximum of 4 players per car).

STARTING LOCATION
PSNH Upper Parking Lot, 780 Commercial Street, Manchester, NH. 

SUGGESTED SUPPLIES
Comfortable footwear & clothing, flashlights, batteries, Arrow OR American Map of Manchester, compass, sense of humor, paper, pencils, dictionary, phone book, and any other reference materials that occur to you. The more the better. Load up that trunk.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS
Word game solving, imagination, sense of humor & navigation. A willingness to sacrifice 10 minutes penalty per puzzle for using lifeline clues... so watch out!

IT CAN'T HURT
Snacks, lucky items, lifelong residents of Manchester, willingness to be in dark places, bravado (real or imagined), chutzpah, knock-knock jokes to distract other teams and plenty of excuses.
